All Faith Formation Families Kick-Off Mass

A Mass to kick off the 2022-2023 Faith Formation program will be Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30 pm in the church. Mary Nawrocki, Director of Faith Formation, will share what families need to know about this year’s programs. Students will receive their class schedules at that time.

Twenty-three candidates were confirmed on Saturday, November 20 at the Cathedral of St. Paul. We were blessed to have Bishop Andrew Cozzens confirm our candidates. Please pray that He “who began a good work in [them] will continue to complete it.” (Philippians 1:6)

Catholic Course for Kids! (YouTube Channel)
This series of short (and fun!) videos will help kids to learn the faith. Hosted by an elementary school-aged daughter of a local Family Formation Director, it includes teachings on the Holy Trinity and Stations of the Cross. New episodes are being added regularly. Please check back! -

The evening includes Mass and a talk on this month’s theme, “Sacrament of the Sick”, presented by Faith Formation catechist Sue Wolney. The October Family Formation lesson included a 3D Holy Mass Set. Students constructed an altar and learned about each vessel, its purpose, and the significance of the altar setting. Thank you to the Peters family for sharing a picture of their finished project!

We are committed to helping to keep all our families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Students who are Kindergarten age and up and all adults are required to wear masks to indoor Faith Formation classes and events. We ask you to assess you and your child’s health before bringing him or her to class.
HEALTH & ATTENDANCE POLICIES FOR 2020-2021
Please keep your child home if the child:- Shows a fever above 100.4F
- Has a new onset of cough or shortness of breath OR any of the following: chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
We also ask you keep your child at home if any member of your household has TESTED POSITIVE or has SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19.
Your child may resume classes after an illness when the child has had no symptoms of illness in the last 24 hours AND is not taking medication to reduce symptoms.
In the case of a POSITIVE COVID CASE: Please wait at least 10 days after symptoms first appear AND until there is no fever for at least 3 days without medication AND improvement of other symptoms.
In the case of a NEGATIVE COVID CASE WITH SYMPTOMS: Please stay home at least 10 days after symptoms first appear AND until there is no fever or symptoms for AT LEAST 3 DAYS.
DISINFECTING AND SANITATIONThe IC Maintenance Team is taking extra measures to clean and disinfect the church buildings. Please help decrease the spread of disease by washing your hands frequently and use hand sanitizers as you enter and leave the buildings. You can find hand sanitizers at all church entrances.
