For many people, the holidays are extremely difficult. Hunger, poverty and the cold prevent people from experiencing the joy of the season. The Church of the Immaculate Conception helps bring the miracle of Christmas to Families that are in need through our Giving Tree Program.
Each year volunteers from the Social Justice Committee and families from the IC Faith Formation program gather to set up Christmas trees which are then decorated with gift request ornaments. Parishioners are asked to select an ornament or two, purchase the gift on the ornament, and return it to the church. Volunteers then sort the gifts and prepare them for pick up by the various charities we serve.
Our Giving Tree program benefits a select group of charities.
