As part of the establishment of the new Center for Catholic Social Thought, the Church of the Assumption in St. Paul is pleased to announce a fall speaker series on The Catholic Social Difference. This event features conversations with local Catholic leaders introducing the Church’s social teaching and imagining how to practice it in our daily lives. Topics include community, poverty, economics, politics, and the way that our faith can take us beyond the stale divisions that tend to define our society. The talks are Thursdays at 7:00 pm, Aug 31-Sept 21, 2023, at Assumption; they are free and open to the public. For more information and to register, please visit catholicsocialthought.org.
