After a historic tour across America during the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima, the International Pilgrim Virgin Statue is returning to the archdiocese for a 22 day tour of parishes and schools. The statue will be at our parish on
Thursday, October 10, from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm.
The visitation, sponsored by the World Apostolate of Fatima USA, is an extraordinary occasion of healing, hope and grace. Many who have venerated this special statue have experienced Our Lady’s presence and favors. The statue was created in 1947 by Portuguese sculptor José Thedim based on the description of Sister Lucia, the oldest of the three seers. It has visited more than 100 countries.
Mary came to bring us a message of hope and peace for a world in need. We invite you to experience the grace of Fatima during our parish visitation:

O Queen of the Rosary, Sweet Virgin of Fatima, who has deigned to appear in the land of Portugal, we beg you to watch over our dear homeland and assure its moral and spiritual revival. Bring back peace to all the nations of the world so that all, our own nation in particular, may be happy to call you their Queen and the Queen of Peace. Amen.
