Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Salutations to you all! How are you today? I hope that you are well. Three years ago there was a Capital Campaign that was begun here at Immaculate Conception called “Together in Faith!” This was an initiative to raise $1.1 million so that we could make improvements to the facilities here on our parish campus, resurface the parking lot, and pay off our debts. Thanks to your generosity we have met the vast majority of those goals.
As of the publication of this message to you, there have been gifts of over $1.1 million. That’s tremendous! In a formal way, the Capital Campaign will reach its conclusion on June 30 to end the fiscal year. At the same time, I wanted to let you know that there are multiple pledges which were made and that have not yet been paid. In total there is $42,875 that was pledged but has not yet been paid. Of that amount, $6,305 was not paid by parishioners who have died (may they rest in peace) and those who moved away (may God bless them in their new homes).
My gentle invitation for you is to consider “adopting” those remaining pledges of $42,875 and pay that over the course of the new fiscal year through the “Building Restoration Fund.” This could be through smaller amounts of $5, $10, or an amount of your choosing so that our beautiful campus continues to shine for the Glory of the Lord.
For each and every one of you who helped to make the “Together in Faith!” Capital Campaign such a success I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you abundantly and may you have a wonderful rest of today!
Peace in Christ,
Fr. James
